Meet Elvira!
Elvira is a 6-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a timid heart. She may be shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe and loved, she blossoms into the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ask for.

Elvira is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her person—she’ll follow you from room to room, curl up on your lap, and shower you with kisses. With her calm, easygoing nature, she happily goes with the flow of family life. She loves her daily walks and enjoys tagging along on little adventures around town.

She gets along well with other small, friendly dogs and would do best with a small brother or sister. Elvira is also potty trained, has excellent house manners, and is ready to slip seamlessly into your home.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
