Hi! I'm Gigi. I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue with my two puppies Gabe and Boji. I am a breeder release girl just beginning to learn to live life as a house pet. I am finally settling in and realizing my foster mom is here to take care of me and won't hurt me. I love having freedom in my foster mom's fenced yard, love being in the house and sitting next to my foster mom on the couch. I'm not yet keen on being held. This journey to become a house pet is a lot! Wearing a harness, I am not open to a leash yet. A fenced yard is a must for me. I have to be followed around a cornered in order for my foster mom to pick me up. I had to have most all of my teeth pulled as they were very rotten :( I'm eaten softened food to make it easier on my mouth. Do you have time and patience to help me continue on this journey to become a house pet? I am 2 yrs old, I turn 3 yrs old in October, I weigh almost 12 pounds, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18=$418
My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental with extractions and microchipping.
