My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a 1- to 3-year-old black lab-flat coat retriever-shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Rooster, a flat-coat retriever, who also needs a home. Truth be told I could be younger because I act like a puppy (shelters are often wrong in their age assessments). I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. Additional adoption info

We work very hard to match potential adopters with the right dog for them. We are an all-breed rescue, primarily focused on dogs, and we have many options to help people find their forever companion.

More about this rescue

We are a registered nonprofit animal rescue organization based in California, though we have adopted dogs to people in many U.S. states and Canada.
