Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Tip: Review our adoption requirements at https://srasnj.org/adoptions/ prior to visiting, then stop by to meet our available pets.
- Meet the Pet
- Staff and volunteers can assist you in finding a pet to match your lifestyle and family to ensure a successful adoption for all.
- Submit Application
- Found your new BFF? complete an application and staff will talk through our adoption requirements. We do not pre-approve applications.
- Approve Application
- Staff will review your application and verify references. All family members must meet the new pet prior to finalizing the adoption.
- Take the Pet Home
- If all requirements are met, all paperwork is complete and the adoption fee is paid, you may take your new buddy home!
