Remi is a lovable pup with a story as unique as his personality. Originally found by a kind-hearted couple, Remi was brought to A New Dawn after they discovered he had been chipped back in 2016. Though his exact age is a bit of a mystery, the veterinarian estimates he’s around three years old—and he’s got the playful energy to prove it!
Weighing in at a perfect 27 pounds, Remi is just the right size for snuggles, couch cuddles, and long walks in the park. He’s a big fan of fetch and will happily chase a ball until your arm gets tired. His joyful spirit and affectionate nature make him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal, fun-loving friend.
Remi is ready to start his next chapter with a forever family who’ll cherish him as much as he’ll adore them

More about this rescue
Founded in 2009, A New Dawn Pet Adoption Center tackles the issue of homeless pet overpopulation in Deer Park, Texas, and surrounding areas. As a no-kill, limited-capacity center, A New Dawn is devoted to finding loving, forever homes for small breed dogs in a setting that resembles a home. Operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, A New Dawn relies solely on volunteers and public donations, with all funds raised going towards the dogs' medical care and living expenses. Each dog enjoys a personal room complete with a bed, toys, and blankets. Although there is a cattery, it is not currently operational and instead provides a haven for five elderly cats left behind by their deceased owners.
