Sage is a truly lovely lady. Found as a stray, she previously lived in a busy home with toddlers, a baby, a cat, and two other dogs. Despite her age, she was always eager to roll and play, especially with the young female shepherd in the home. She still hops around like a puppy and loves to play—she’s just a bit of a noisy player!
Crates and kennels aren’t her thing, and she becomes very distressed when confined. Because of this, she should be in a home where she doesn’t need to be crated. Or with a family that can help work work with crate training.
Sage adores toys, especially bones, and she is extremely food motivated. Most of all, she LOVES people. She’ll follow you everywhere, soaking up every bit of affection she can—her happy kisses never stop, and she thrives on attention and closeness.
Sage is ready to find her forever family, one that will give her the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves for the rest of her life. Could that be you?
