Rescued from the Rual South Texas ,heat living in a backyard alone , chained to a tree , where his owners finally surrendered him due to lack of care , Duke came to the shelter wagging his tail and had an unbreakable spirt .
Duke Thrives on adventure , he is the ultimate running buddy for hiking , jogging or even the casual neighborhood stroll. Duke is known for basic commands like "sit" he is very treat motivated , is a quick learner who loves belly rubs , pool time hugs and smooches . Duke will need a home that will offer positive reinforcement , structure , fenced back yard and a Family who is patient .
He does well with other dogs , no cats , and children over the age of 10
