What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Kenji from the Maricopa Animal Shelter. He is about 3 years old, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Kenji is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and give hugs. He enjoys walks, knows how to use a doggy door, and walks well on a leash. He is not a picky eater and even enjoys vegetables. While he has a gentle and loving personality with people, he does not get along with our resident German Shepherd, which is why we need to rehome him. Kenji would do best in a home where he can be the only dog and have all the attention. He thrives on companionship and would make a wonderful loyal friend for someone who can give him a stable and loving home. Words that describe Kenji are sweet, affectionate, cuddly, loyal, and easygoing. Kenjis DNA test say he is is a mix of 18 breeds with Highest being 31% American Staffordshire Terrier and 14% Siberian Husky.
