My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Maddie Rae - Your New Best Friend 🐾

Looking for a sweet, loyal, and beautiful pup to join your family? Look no further — this stunning 47lb 12-month-old Husky-Shepherd mix is ready to find her forever home!

✨ With her striking tri-colored coat and light brown eyes that will melt your heart, she’s as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside.

Here’s why you’ll fall in love:
• 🧒 Kid-friendly and gentle — she loves being around children and is a wonderful family dog.
• 🐶 Dog-social — she gets along well with other dogs.
• 💖 Affectionate — she adores being petted and will happily soak up your love.
• 🏡 Independent when she needs to be — she enjoys relaxing in her crate when it’s time for some quiet time.
• 🍖 Food-motivated and currently learning basic commands like “sit” — she’s a smart cookie and eager to please!

This sweet girl is looking for a loving home where she can grow, play, and be part of the family. If you’re ready for cuddles, tail wags, and a lifetime of love, she’s ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
