Tank is a young terrier mix who was recently rescued from euthanasia at a shelter, and he’s ready to start his happily-ever-after. Despite his name, this sweet boy is really just a big lap dog who hasn’t quite mastered the concept of personal space—he loves to be close to his people.
Tank is generally a laid-back companion, but don’t be fooled—he’s got a playful side that pops out when the mood strikes. He is well-behaved, and happiest when he’s following his humans from room to room. He loves people in general, but seems especially drawn to men. He’s also done well so far meeting dogs. He's had mixed experiences with cats, but we think he would be OK with a slow introduction. He is a great fit for many kinds of families.
If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a snuggle buddy, and a gentle soul all in one, Tank is your guy!
Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
