My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET MARINA & CORAL!

This adorable duo share a bond as deep as the ocean, and can`t wait to swim off to their new home together! If you`re looking for a pair of furry friends to add a little fun to your home, come meet Marina and Coral!

Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they`ll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they`ve bonded with you!

In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure they will be living in before you take them home.

Marina and Coral have been seen by our vet team.

For more information on Marina and Coral or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

More about this shelter

Pets are family. This belief is at the heart of everything we do at the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

We are the first female-founded animal welfare organization in Massachusetts and are proud to carry on a legacy of kindness and compassion, helping more than 20,000 animals annually since 1899.

Recognized for our innovative, award-winning programs that go beyond sheltering, we address the root causes of the issues facing animals and the people who love them.

By partnering with communities, we help animals heal and thrive, keep pets and people together, and protect animals from harm.

Because there is no government funding for this important work, animals must rely on people like you to get the care they need, when they need it most, 365 days a year.
