My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION: CHIPS AHOY is a super fun 6 month old male looking for a patient forever family. This young guy came to us with his large family group as a scared and underhanded kitten. His littermates were all bolder and friendlier and it seems the previous owner didn’t put much effort into handling the cats if they didn’t come to him. Lucky for Chips Ahoy we put in the effort to handle him once he arrived in our care. We earned his trust with lick-able tube treats and he is now comfortable being over by those he trusts most and he will allow himself to be picked up but he does not enjoy it. While Chips Ahoy’s desire for affection is still building, his playful antics are here full force. He loves toys of all types and if there are not toys around to play with he is pretty into wrestling and running with the other cats. Chips Ahoy has been very good with the other cats so far. He pairs best with another fun and playful buddy and benefits from having a friendly and confident cat to show him the ropes. Chips Ahoy has had limited but positive interactions with dogs and could learn to live with a friendly canine. He is weary of all new people but can be won over with his beloved lick-able tube treats. Loud and rowdy children can be overwhelming for Chips Ahoy but he is just as comfortable and friendly with calm and respectful kids as he is with adults. Chips Ahoy has been indoor only his entire life and we would like to see him continue in that lifestyle. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control.
