Meet Jim, a shy and sweet 7 month old Lab mix who was rescued with his brother Slim at the Pascagoula River. Jim may be timid at first, but with a little patience, love, and some yummy treats, he warms up quickly. He’s playful, affectionate, and ready to discover the joys of a loving home. Jim would thrive in a family with another confident, friendly dog to help show him the ropes and teach him that the world isn’t so scary. He deserves a safe, nurturing space where he can blossom.

Adopting animals from the shelter is easy. Adoption fees are:
$50 for all animals (covers spaying or neutering)
All adopted animals are provided with:
1. A certificate of examination from the Jackson County Veterinary Society (entitles adoptee to a free health exam)
2, Initial vaccinations
3. Preventative worming
4. Spaying and Neutering (depending on age of animal)
5. A pet name tag from Two Dogs Dancing
A microchip for your new friend will be included for an additional $15.
