My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Teddy! 🐾

Teddy is a stunning, dark-coated Keeshond who was found as a stray in Salt Lake City. Estimated to be about 2–3 years old, he’s built solid and sturdy—just right for leaning into your side for cuddles. His favorite spot? Curled up in a nest of pillows on the couch, preferably as close to you as possible.

This affectionate boy is a true Velcro dog—he’ll follow you from room to room and rest his chin on your leg or arm with a soulful gaze that’ll melt your heart. He’s completely house-trained, has impeccable house manners, and is happy to sleep in a crate at night (though he’d rather be snuggled up next to you, of course).

Teddy loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a dog friend in his new home. He’s good with children and makes fast friends with visiting pups. While he’s still learning some leash manners—he can get a little excited when seeing other dogs out and about—he’s smart, eager to please, and a great candidate for training.

Because he’s still working on feeling fully secure, Teddy may fuss a bit when left alone, so crating him when you leave is recommended until he settles into the routine. But once he knows the drill, he’s a loyal companion through and through.

Visitors constantly say, “What a lovely dog!”—and they’re absolutely right.

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate, and beautiful dog to love and be loved by, Teddy might just be your guy.

(Note: Teddy is fostered in the San Francisco Bay Area.)
