My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peanut! 🥜

Peanut is a lovable, social little guy who lives for attention and pets! He’ll even stand up on his back legs just to politely ask for more love and trust us, it’s adorable.

He’s a friendly sweetheart who enjoys being around people and is always ready to make new friends. If you’re looking for a little companion with a big heart, Peanut is ready to wiggle his way right into your life!

Her adoption fee is $600, plus an additional $50 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. The adoption fee includes her care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
