Meet Dexter – Your New Best Friend!

Hi there! I’m Dexter – a sweet, playful pup with a big heart and a lot of love to give. My two brothers and sister and I were left on a remote road in October, but a kind couple rescued us and gave us a safe place to land. Now, I’m ready for the next chapter: finding my forever family.

I’m about 1 year old, neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. I’m crate-trained, house trained, and walk well on a leash. I even sleep through the night like a pro!

I’m also pretty athletic, so I’ll need a tall, secure fence—I can clear four feet without breaking a sweat.

Most of all, I’m looking for a family to love, play with, and grow up beside. If you’re ready for a loyal, energetic companion, I’d love to meet you.

Adoption application must be submitted.
Veterinary references are requested.
Discussion of medical needs are discussed due to most of our cases being medical.
Interviewing is done with registered veterinary technician.
Follow up calls, emails, and possible home visits are performed weekly until every one is well.
If owner have other animals in the home we will ask for a meet and greet
Landlords are called or proof of ownership is needed.
