My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger – A Gentle Soul Ready to Shine

Ginger’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was brought to BSAS as a stray, so scared and petrified that our officers had to carefully trap her to bring her to safety. She arrived alongside her brother Julien, both in need of extra love and care—but Ginger, in particular, needed a gentle, patient touch to feel safe in the world.

Watching Ginger grow has been nothing short of inspiring. From a frightened, shy pup, she has blossomed into a confident, loving dog who thrives in our playgroups and absolutely adores spending time with other dogs. While she can be a little timid around new people or visitors at first, those who take the time to get to know her find a soft, tender-hearted soul who just wants love and safety.

Ginger has been through so much, but her resilience shines through. She deserves a forever home that will give her the patience, affection, and security she needs—a home where she can continue to grow, play, and show the loving dog she truly is. This sweet, gentle girl is ready to trust again, and she needs someone willing to open their heart and give her a chance.

Ginger’s story is a reminder of the strength in vulnerability, and the joy that comes when a scared soul finally finds safety and love. Will you be the one to give Ginger the forever home she so deeply deserves?
