Well Here are the Big Boys.
All year I have been adopting out gorgeous Ragdolls from a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery whose owner asked us to help finding homes for some of her cats. I only have few left.
These two wonderful big guys sort of took care of all the others, touching noses, checking in with them each day. This breeder lets her cats all run free in her home ( except of course when they had a litter of kittens and were in the quiet "mommy room") Newman and Lover Boy watched over everyone.They knew their job. Now it is my job to force myself to post them here and let them go to their new lucky home. Of course I am reluctant, we all adore them.
They are both over 15 pounds. Big armfuls of soft fluff. True to their Ragdoll nature they are good natured and easy going. I don't think Newman was ever a stud but Lover Boy had some kids before he was neutered. They both came to me fixed. They are closely bonded and cannot be separated.( I had to promise the breeder.) They make a remarkable, glorious pair of boys, so sweet with each other.
Newman was probably named for Paul Newman's blue eyes. The white inverted "V" above his nose tells you he is a Bicolor. His soft grey brown coloring make him a Blue Point. Look at the length of the hair in his tail- is that 7 inches? Like Lover Boy he is happy to be held and loves attention from people.
Lover Boy's rich brown face tells you he is a Seal Point kitty. He is White Mitted which means he has snowy white feet ( my favorite) He has the tiniest white blaze on his forehead not always visible in every photograph. Like Newman's, his tummy is soft white fluff. His whiskers are very white against his brown . His coloring gives him the high drama appeal of light and dark. Of course they both have the blue, blue eyes this Ragdoll breeder is known for.
These Big Boys are certainly cat friendly. I wouldn't put them with an aggressive or territorial kitty but all sorts of other kitties would be fine. I have no idea how they would be with dogs but I can imagine them getting along with cat friendly ones. These two heavy weights can run and jump but they will never be fast and you will find them on top of your couch but not your refrigerator.
What they want is a spacious home that comes complete with humans who are there all the time to tell them that they are treasures who deserve to be loved and pampered every day.
Some family will be so very lucky to have their companionship.
Lover Boy is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
