LOOKING FOR A MAJOR CONNECTION? - Meet our White-and-Black Gentleman!
MajorA, born approximately 5/10/25, is a white-and-black boy with a look as unique as his personality. With his signature black mask, one black ear and one white ear, a black tail, and white body with a black spot on each side, he’s a walking work of art! Not to mention, he likely has some Turkish Van in him, too!
Even in the scary environment at our Petco adoption events (loud, busy, open), Major gives people a hopeful look as they pass by his display crate, as if to say, "Please stop and give me a pet . . . or maybe two?"
Major is a “cat’s cat”. He was the heart of his litter and a favorite with his foster siblings. He tries so hard to be friends with every feline he meets! Because of his social nature, Major requires a home with at least one other kitty friend to show him the ropes. He’s very sensitive at responding to other personalities and does his best to be non-threatening to other cats.
The Truth About Major
Major was recently returned for being too shy with his adopter. We're baffled as he's such a friendly guy but we're sure she did her best, sometimes things don't work out - they just weren't a "match." While he may give you “wide-eyed” looks that make him seem startled, that’s just his goofy way of taking in the world! He’s incredibly loving with his foster mom and rescue staff. With some encouragement and reassurance Major will bloom in the right home.
Likes: Wand toys, mice, chasing balls, springs, “me time” naps.
Needs: A gentle hand, a quiet approach, and a feline brother or sister.
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
