My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wishbone was literally found alone lying in the street on some leaves. He had a look of hopelessness in his eyes. This poor baby was completely alone, starving and helpless at only 8 months old šŸ’”
This baby was ā€œsavedā€ only to be tossed into an overcrowded Louisiana high kill shelter. Wishbone’s chances of survival there were extremely slim. His face in his profile pic demonstrates his despair. We got him out just in time where he is waiting for someone to CHOOSE him!
Wishbone’s joyful, loving self is truly shining in his foster home. Wishbone has developed his own routine before he goes outside. First, he takes a quick drink, then grabs a toy and run in a circle for all to see then goes out! In addition to that adorable routine, Wishbone LOVES EVERYONE including people, Dogs & Cats!! Everyone that meets him really thinks he’s a great, fun dog!
Bonus, he is house trained, cat trained and even has been practicing walking on a leash while he’s waiting for his family to find him. If that’s you, call/ text Jenn (870)489-8203.

More about this rescue

Arcadia Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to saving the lives of animals that are at-risk either in shelters or in our communities, and placing them into safe and loving foster or adoptive homes.

As a 501c3 organization that receives no federal funding, we rely on the generosity of donors in order to provide life-saving veterinary care, spay and neuter, behavioral assessments and modification, emergency boarding, and transport to foster/adoptive homes.

Our philosophy is that rescue is a partnership. Together, our fosters, adopters, donors, supporters, and volunteers make this life-saving mission possible!
