Mr Rogers is a goofy nervous sweetheart who is looking for his emotional support human. This sweet boy has so much love to give, he loves to cuddle and is constantly giving kisses, he’s even a lap cat when he’s feeling really confident. He has a lot of anxiety and has made huge progress overcoming his fears, but needs a calm home and people who will be patient with him. He loves playing with toys, especially string and cat nip toys, and he’s great with other cats, seeing their reactions also helps him panic less. He’s very easily overstimulated and probably wouldn’t do well with kids. Once he warms up, Mr Roger is a ridiculous clumsy weirdo and it’s always entertaining, and he’s ready for a forever home that will understand and appreciate his quirks.
Mr. Rogers is a sweet and gentle soul who just wants to be your quiet companion—on his terms. This handsome guy loves head rubs and will even lean into your hand if you take a slow, respectful approach. If you hit the right spot, he’ll reward you with an adorable butt lift of approval. However, he’s made it clear that being picked up is not his thing—and he’ll put up a bit of a heated protest if you try.
As an FIV+ kitty, Mr. Rogers can live a long, happy life just like any other cat, but he’d do best in a low-stress home where he can set his own boundaries. He’s not a good fit for a bustling home scene, but he could thrive as an independent yet affectionate companion, keeping watch over his domain while still soaking up love (from the ground, of course).
