Wiley Coyote and Mr Rogers met in foster care and have become besties. Mr Roger got there first and had spent a few months coming out of his shell and overcoming his anxiety when Wiley joined him and they became fast friends. Wiley is confident, outgoing, and fully convinced that he’s just a baby, and while most of the other cats just rolled their eyes at his antics, Mr Rogers is empathetic and a bit gullible so he started giving Wiley all the baby treatment he asked for. Wiley returned the favor by showing Mr Rogers how to be extra brave with people and try new things, like jumping on the bed and being held like a teddy bear (actually not scary at all, it’s pretty cozy!). Now they’re usually cuddling, grooming, and playing together and they balance each other out super well. Having a confident extrovert friend helps Mr Rogers be more confident too and Wiley is great at casually reassuring and encouraging him. Getting babied by Mr Rogers also helps Wiley chill out and tones down some of his velcro tendencies so he’s not excessively begging the humans for attention. They’re both sweet goofy weirdos who match each other’s energy and love including people in their cuddles too, they are fully convinced they can fit in the same lap at the same time, and would do great going home together.
