Finn is a goofy, higher-energy guy who absolutely adores people and lives for attention. He’s a total lovebug with adults but is still learning how to interact appropriately—no small kids for this guy, as he tends to get overly excited and may nip during play. It’s never mean-spirited, but he just doesn’t know his own strength or boundaries.
Finn struggles with anxiety in the shelter and spends much of his time licking his kennel walls. He’s currently on medication (trazodone) to help manage his stress, but what he really needs is a stable, loving home to help him decompress. Despite his quirks and anxious habits, Finn is a go-with-the-flow kind of dog once he feels safe.
He does okay with most dogs, though he can be a little selective, and he is definitely not a fan of cats—he will chase them without hesitation. Speaking of chasing, Finn also has a strong urge to chase cars, so a fenced-in yard is a must to keep him safe.
There’s not a ton going on upstairs for this silly boy—but we love him for it. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a few goofy habits and a whole lot of heart, Finn just might be your perfect match.
Finn is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
