My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am beautiful Birdie, the dream girl you have been waiting for! I am a one-and-a-half-year-old, 54-pound, fully vetted/spayed Pointer mix. I am a happy pup with a zest for life who adores everyone I meet. I'm easygoing, curious, affectionate, both calm and playful, and I would fit right in with almost any family. I am great with kids and would make a fun, loyal companion for an active family. I would even make a great first-time dog.

You should see me play with my friends! They say that I am the life of the party! I am well-socialized with other dogs and have met plenty of them. I would be happy living with another dog but would also do just fine as the only pup in the house as long as I still get to meet up with dog friends for playdates. I am good with cats, though I sometimes try to play with them, so a little supervision will be helpful until I learn their boundaries.

My foster mom says that I have the best manners. I am crate, house, and leash trained, and I love car rides, going to new places, and meeting new people. My favorite things are snacks, naps, kisses, warm blankets, and can self-occupy with a variety of toys.
As you can see, I am ready to bring joy and companionship to my new home.
Are you the forever family that I have been dreaming of?
