This young boy was found wandering in the middle of a road a few months ago; no one came to claim him so a neighborhood dog lover stepped up to keep this young boy safe. SAMMY is now fully vetted, neutered, and in recovery at a foster home AND is seeking a forever home! He is such a LOVER and CUDDLE BUG with humans. AND... We recently noticed he has shown a particularly strong focus on the human male that may be walking him. HE loves interacting with adults or children, great car rider, very calm when with everyone he meets, sits for treats, can walk on leash without hard pulls, we have learned he is CRATE trained and house trained too. SAMMY was quick to learn sit with a treat; we surmise training would be easy for this boy. His excitement level raises (not reactivity) with any dog he sees because it is HIS opportunity to PLAY and expend some of his energy. SAMMY is currently in FOSTER HOME in Miami County, OH and lives with 3 other older dogs; his playmate is currently a 4 yr male dog (Gus) larger than him. Who needs a playmate in their home? Sammy has NOT been around cats so we do not recommend a feline as a house mate or playmate.
