Adorable Emmy (now 2.5 years old and 50 lbs) is a sweet, friendly Lab+ mix (and Husky). She loves to meet new people and especially loves to play with other dogs of any type and size. She is neither dominant nor submissive, and is confident but not bossy. She is well-trained on basic manners although she is not a dog who can run freely off-leash as she has a strong prey drive. She respects low gates in the house. Her activity level is moderate. She is an exceptionally good-natured dog. She also has an independent streak and can keep herself entertained with her toys and running around in our yard. She is good with children. She LOVES other dogs but we’re not sure about cats. Currently she has a 4-ft high wire mesh fence in our yard which she has never tried to jump. She needs a good-sized fenced yard, but no electric fence! She has no bad habits. At least one dog buddy would be IDEAL. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped.
