Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Diesel! Diesel is German Shepherd born 5/24/23, so he is just over 2 years old. He is a bigger boy weighing about 90 pounds.
TRI works with saving many breeding dogs. To our knowledge, Diesel was not used as a breeding dog but was a family dog of a breeder's extended family. Diesel was already neutered upon arrival. He was an outside dog and came to us with a female bernadoodle who has already found her forever home.
Here are some facts about Diesel:
⛽️ Friendly and sweet
⛽️ Housetrained
⛽️ Crate trained and does well in boarding facility
⛽️ True to breed, will need regular grooming / brushing
⛽️ Has been in training over the past 6 weeks with our training team at Dog Gone Crazy. He knows basic commands, practices agility basics such as the ladder, and walks well on leash.
⛽️ Diesel bonds with both men and women. He seems to be a ladies man and really like gals. He would do best with adult owners who are familiar with German Shepherds.
⛽️ Diesel is good with all humans, but we think an adult only home would be best for our guy.
If you think Diesel may be a match for you, email us at therescueinn@gmail.com AND complete an adoption application on our website (use a computer, not a phone or IPad): https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.
We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends.
