Hello, I`m Raya—a stunning cream-colored Siamese-mix kitten, one of five born at Animal Ark to our sweet mom, Roxie. She came to the shelter from a home overwhelmed with too many cats, and thanks to her, I got my start in life surrounded by love. But my journey hasn’t been easy. I’m a brave little soul who has faced more than most kittens ever will. I was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a serious illness, and underwent 84 days of intensive treatment. Today, I’m thriving—playful, affectionate, and full of life. I’m ready to find my forever home. Because of my medical history, I need to be adopted with Rex- my littermate who shared this journey and immune exposure with me. To keep everyone safe, my future home must not have other cats, with the exception of Rex, and I’m best suited to a household without children under the age of five.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
