Iris is Clover’s sister and one of the feral kittens we trapped at the end of August. While her journey is moving at a slower pace, it is just as meaningful. Rescue isn’t always instant cuddles — sometimes it’s quiet breakthroughs, small wins, and learning that humans can be safe.
Iris is still very scared and not handleable yet. When she feels overwhelmed, she may urinate out of fear — it’s simply her survival instinct from her early days outside. But here’s what gives us hope… she will accept treats. And in the world of shy, feral kittens, that is a huge step. 💗
She watches. She listens. She’s learning.
Iris will need a very patient, quiet home — one that understands that trust is earned gently and on her timeline. She may not be the kitten who runs into your arms right away, but for the right person, helping her feel safe will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

✨ Microchipped
✨ Fully vaccinated
✨ Negative for FIV/FeLV
✨ Up-to-date on exam
✨ On flea preventative
She is still under a year old and would likely benefit from being adopted with Clover or another confident kitty to help show her the way.
