She’s a happy, playful, and cuddly pup who loves attention and thrives on human companionship. Evita is smart, friendly, and eager to please — plus she’s crate-trained and doing wonderfully with house training. While she’s still building her endurance on walks, she enjoys getting outside and is learning how to navigate the world on three legs. She’ll need a little patience and encouragement when she gets tired, but her progress and spirit will inspire you every day.
She’s curious and social but can be timid around new people and pets at first, so a gentle introduction works best. Once she warms up, her affectionate nature shines through and she loves to cuddle. She’s also easily redirectable and appreciates a helping hand (especially for those hard-to-reach back-leg scratches!).
Evita would do best in a loving home that can give her both play and rest, and cheer her on as she continues to grow stronger. In return, she’ll give you endless loyalty, kisses, and joy.

Our mission is to provide Chicagoland families with adoptable dogs from across the U.S. and provide local education and resources.
We are excited to embark on this journey as a new foster-based rescue. We are looking to create a strong volunteer base. If you are interested please fill out our volunteer application here. As a foster-based rescue we need to have committed fosters in order to rescue and save mutts that are in need, if you know you want to foster a mutt for us fill out our foster application today!
