Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie is simply a great dog! She came from a hoarding situation and is very shy with people; but she's super bonded with her foster mom and is extremely affectionate and loyal. Millie is totally house trained, loves to sleep in her kennel, travels great in a car, doesn't jump up on people, doesn't try to get up on furniture, and doesn't chew anything other than her toys--except for maybe an occasional sock! She is also great with other dogs of all sizes. Millie has been through a lot in her past and needs a patient, loving human to help her to continue to learn to trust people, but she's well worth the effort. She also needs a large fenced yard where she can do her daily zoomies!! ! If you think Millie might be the right fit for you, please fill out our adoption application and come meet her?

More about this rescue
Lake Lowell Animal Rescue was founded to help all the animals abandoned at Lake Lowell in Canyon County, Idaho. We began as a rescue for cats and kittens, but quickly found that other animals including rabbits, chickens, ducks, and dogs are frequently abandoned there as well. Thanks to our devoted volunteers and foster homes we have been able save and adopt out hundreds of animals abandoned at the lake and have also been able to assist over burdened shelters.
