My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drill bit was with us as a kitten, he was adopted. They brought him back about a year later saying he didn't use the litter box. He went to the vet and discovered he had multiple stones getting stuck in his urinary tract. He's best chance was to re-route, his urinary "tube" He has a clean bill of health now and a very happy and sweet cat. He is deaf, and tilts his head the cutest way. He will need to be on urinary food for life**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
