We've had kittens arrive at our doorstep in just about every way imaginable. Countless kittens have been driven to us by car. Some have arrived in the arms of kind-hearted people who walked them right to our front door.
But until last week, no kitten had ever arrived by bicycle.
Meet "Biker Babe" (aka BB) — our first-ever two-wheeled rescue. She was found all alone art the Prairie Farmer Trail outside of Ridgeway by a couple of cyclists. With no other cats in sight, they did what any animal lover would do: They scooped her up and took her with them (and pedaled her straight to our house 😂)
Now that she’s safe and settled, BB is ready for her next adventure — a forever home. She's available for adoption through Camp Companion and is everything you'd expect from a kitten who rolled in on two wheels: adventurous, confident, playful, and full of energy and enthusiasm.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
