Hi there! My name is Sunshine — and I promise my smile is as bright as my name.
Not too long ago, I was found running down the street hungry, scared, and sick. But thanks to some love and care, I’m healthy, happy, and can’t stop wagging my tail!
I adore other dogs of all sizes — I even share my food and play gently with my little Yorkie best friend. Kids make me so happy too, and I love when they stop to pet me. I haven’t met a cat yet, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them.
Some of my favorite things are chasing tennis balls, playing fetch, going for walks, and running around the yard with my dog friends. But my very favorite thing? Cuddling up close — I’ll happily rest my head on your lap and beam up at you with my biggest smile.
I’m heartworm positive right now, but don’t worry — I’m on medicine and well on my way to being fully healthy. What matters most is that I have a heart full of love to give, and I can’t wait to share it with my forever family.
Adoption fee: $50
Sunshine is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
