My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌸 Meet Callie & Stella – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Second Chance 🌸

Callie and Stella are two sweet, gentle girls whose lives were recently turned upside down. Their former owner gave them up simply because they didn’t like the furniture being scratched—something all cats do naturally. Sadly, that meant these two best friends suddenly lost the only home they’d ever known.

Callie is a lovely, affectionate companion who thrives on love and will happily curl up beside you for quiet time. Stella, her devoted best friend, is just as sweet and adores being close to her person. These two are truly inseparable—you’ll often find them side by side, grooming each other, or snuggled up in the same bed.

Stella is also incredibly brave. She has been diagnosed with mammary cancer, but she isn’t letting it dull her spirit or her love of life. She deserves a family who will cherish her and give her the comfort and care she needs while she continues to shine.

Because Callie and Stella are bonded, they must be adopted together. They’ve already lost so much—what they need now is a forever home filled with patience, kindness, and unconditional love. In return, they’ll gift you with the deepest companionship and the joy only a bonded pair can bring.

💖 Could you be the one to give Callie and Stella the safe, loving home they’ve been waiting for?

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
