Venus is a stunning beauty that was surrendered to a local vet hospital when she was not feeling well outdoors. She had previously had a litter of kittens that the good Samaritan said had taken off and were no longer hanging around. She was suffering from some sort of virus that was making her not be able to hold her food down. She also had a corneal ulcer in her eye, which has since recovered though you will be able to see the cloudy scar just over her pupil. The veterinarian says it is fine. It won’t cause her any further issue. She is still able to see out of that eye.
Venus is very affectionate and wants human attention. She’s also OK with other cats. She is not comfortable around dogs. We are asking that you are a dog free home if you apply to adopt her.
Would you like to consider Venus as part of your family? She is waiting for you!

More about this rescue
The Euclid Beach Cat Project is a 501(c)(3), non profit rescue group. We take in, socialize, vet and adopt out cats and kittens, as well as trap-neuter-return (TNR) and manage feral colonies. There are so many homeless, abandoned and vulnerable cats and kittens needing homes, medical care and to be spayed/neutered. We try to help as many cats find a home as we can. If they are feral, we practice TNR and make sure either a caregiver or someone with this rescue continues to provide for them.
