This little guy was a stray cat living outside, starving for both food and attention. He had some cuts on his face and an upper respiratory infection, but he was still really affectionate to humans and nearby dogs. We took him home, saw a vet the next day, and it turns out he is FIV+. As we have other cats in the household, we can't keep him like we intended. But don't let that stop you from loving him! He shows no symptoms and most FIV+ cats have normal lifespans and can live rewarding lives. FIV is only transmissible to other cats and is only transmitted through deep bite wounds.
He's about a year old, got his vaccines, and was treated for fleas and his URI, so he's perfectly healthy otherwise. He was neutered on 8/27/25. He deserves a good home without any other cats (or with other FIV+ cats) where he can play and be loved on! He'll be begging for cuddles and love. He's very vocal and playful - as you can see in the second pic of him rolling around on the floor at the vet's office.
