Denim came to us after our local shelter posted the most pitiful picture of this girl. She looked absolutely miserable—her skin was raw and inflamed, her ears were infected, and she was in terrible shape. Well… we pulled her, shinnied her up, and look what we got! Denim! Today, Denim is shining inside and out. She’s a loyal, playful girl who loves fetch, knows her sit and paw commands, and goes crazy for treats and mealtime. She’ll greet you like you’re the best part of her day every time you walk through the door. Denim has a huge heart—she loves people (especially men!) and has never met a stranger. Denim absolutely loves her toys—but she can get a little overexcited with them. Her enthusiasm could cause her to accidentally knock over a small child, so she’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle her playful energy. She also enjoys the company of other dogs, but her new canine sibling would need to be the type that doesn’t mind letting her be the queen of the toy box. Because of her past neglect, Denim still needs a little extra care for her skin and ears, but with the right family who can keep up with her needs, she will stay happy and healthy. Denim is ready for her forever family and if you are in the market for a sweet, little bit older (no puppy shenanigans here), adorable pitty, she just might be the one.
Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $360 adoption donation upon the completion of the adoption (it is tax deductible!) All dog adoptions include a required one-hour virtual session with our partners at Lucky Dogs. This session is at no additional charge www.LuckyDogstraining.net

More about this rescue
Our rescue is a little different in the fact that we work very hard to be a “match maker” with potential homes. If it does not work out with the pet you applied for, we would love to help your family find the next right match! None of our animals are in a shelter environment but rather living with a foster family in a home environment. Additionally, all of our animals have a 30 day minimum stay in their foster home before we even list them as available for adoption. This is so we can make sure we know as much as we can about their behaviors, likes, dislikes, quirks and habits before we try and place them in a forever home.
