My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a cuddlebug? Meet Tiny Tim! He was rescued as a wee little kitten and nursed back to health (so he’s not quite so tiny anymore!). Tiny Tim has returned to us although at no fault of his own - he is just an active guy who craves both feline and human companionship and would do best starting his new life with a friend.

This guy loves nothing more than to nuzzle up to his humans and lap up as many scritches as you’ll offer him. While he may be a little wary of new people at first, the second the pets start, so does the tiny biscuit factory! He loves loves loves pets, especially on the ears, chin, and even the belly. If you hit the right spot, he turns into a booming purr machine and will melt in your hands. Plop him right on your lap and let the cuddles begin!

Tim is also a very playful boy! He’ll chase a feather, bat at a toy mouse, and then curl up in your arms for a nap when he’s had his fun. He would love a cat friend to share his energy with!! Tiny Tim could do well in a home with kids who treat him gently.

Tim is about 9 months old. He is neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for him today!

**Please note: Tiny Tim came from an area with many other cats, and where some cats were known to be FeLV+. Tim tested FeLV- on IDEXX snap testing here at TCR, but to be extra cautious, his future adopters may want to consider having him retested in the future, and/or having any resident cats FeLV vaccinated.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
