Buttercup is not in the Shelter; she is in a foster home in our Rescue Program so please use the contact info at the end of this description. Buttercup is an interesting mix of brown tabby with some calico hiding in the mix. She's also the mom of the Princess Bride litter ( Prince Humperdinck, Inigo, and Mouse) and would LOVE to be adopted with one of them! They are also on our site. Buttercup is a sweet girl who enjoys hanging out with her foster mom and rubbing against her legs. She is an excellent listener and sometimes shares her thoughts. She still plays with her kittens and gives them affectionate head bumps. She is comfortable smelling her foster mom's hand but is not ready yet for petting and cuddles. We continue to work on getting her more comfortable with touching and she will need a patient, cat-savvy adopter who will understand her need to go at her own pace.
Buttercup \ has had her rabies and distemper vaccines, been tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, been dewormed, is free of fleas, has been spayed, and will be microchipped as part of the adoption process.
