Maisie is a young mama (1–2 years old) who clearly didn’t plan on motherhood but handled it like a pro. She’s retired from the streets, reluctantly learning the joys of domestic life—soft beds, steady meals, and humans who offer chin scritches without expecting her to perform. She’s skeptical of new people, of course.
But don’t be fooled—once mealtime hits, she’s right there, rubbing against your legs and purring like she’s known you forever. She's a little nervous at times, but not cold. She’s simply someone who needs a little time and a lot of respect—and maybe a feline friend or two to vouch for you. She adores other cats and would thrive in a home with one of her kittens or an existing cat who speaks fluent introvert.
Maisie should be adopted into a home that already has at least one cat to show her the ropes, or can be adopted with one of her kittens (Jade, Garnet, Lapis, or Pearl). She is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150, or adopt her with a kitten and get a $50 discount on the second adoption fee.
