My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cleopatra ... a One-of-a-Kind Tortie Beauty!

This gorgeous tortie girl has beautiful, unique features that make her truly stand out. Her personality only enhances her appeal!

Cleopatra is incredibly sweet and affectionate, enjoying companionship and attention. She prefers to be the only pet in the home — she loves her humans but isn't a fan of other animals or little kids and would do best in a home where she can be the only little one.

Cleopatra, or Cleo for short, is very vocal. She loves to "chat"- especially when it's mealtime! She will happily sit by her food dish and call to let you know she's ready to eat. She loves food but food does not love her back the same way. Cleo has been diagnosed with IBS and needs a family understanding of her sensitive stomach. She needs someone willing to help her stay on her diet and the medication she needs. With the right food and medicine, Cleopatra thrives.

Cleopatra is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

If you're looking for a sweet, talkative, and stunning companion to share your home with - and you can give her the special care she needs - this tortie beauty may just be your perfect match!

The application process....

After you complete an application, there are several things that we will do:

1. We will check your personal references. Please be sure to list two personal references and include a phone number and an email address. (form asks for one; but I like two)
2. If you do not own your place of residence, we will call your landlord or leasing office. Please check with them first to learn about their pet policy.
3. We will call your veterinarian for a reference. We are looking for a history of annual exams, vaccines maintained routinely, annual heartworm tests and monthly preventatives. We require the following:

* All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered.
* If your pet is not up to date on vaccines, please do not submit the application until you have scheduled an appointment with the vet to get your pets current on their vaccines.

4. If you are a 1st-time pet owner, please include the name and phone number of the veterinarian you plan to use.
5. Be sure to call your Vet(s), giving them permission to speak with us.
6. We may need to do a home visit prior to approving your application, or post-adoption.

If these policies and practices are not acceptable, please do not apply.
