Maizey is a sweet old gal in her teenage years looking for a new home to spend the rest of her days! Maizey recently had her whole world turned upside down when her owner needed to move in assisted living due to Alzheimer’s.
Maizey is settling into a family member’s house for the time being and is getting along well with all the humans (including an 8 year old) and the resident dog. She can be timid/shy but is working on warming up as she learns her new surroundings. Because Maizey’s previous owner didn’t always remember to let her outside, she is working on remembering potty and house rules, but is doing well with frequent outside trips. She is also enjoying a short walk in the mornings!
Maizey had a recent trip to her vet and her lab work looked great. She does take a daily medication for protein in her urine. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.
