My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Go Gurt!
This sweet girl is ready to leave the shelter behind and find the loving forever home she deserves! Born on March 18, 2024, Go Gurt has grown into a playful, affectionate companion who enjoys making new friends.

Go Gurt would be happiest as your one and only pet, and she would do best in a home with older, respectful children who understand her gentle nature. She has more than enough love to give and promises to be all you’ll ever need. Go Gurt came to us from another rescue, and now she’s ready to write her own happily ever after.

She is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to settle into a home where she’ll be cherished. Could that home be yours?

Apply online today at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, we’ll give you a call to schedule a personal appointment to meet Go Gurt. With an approved application on file, we can even facilitate same-day adoptions for our feline friends!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
