I am five year old Lambo, I have a slight built like a compact pocket Pittie, and black short fur with white patches and a brindle undercoat. I’m on a quest to find interesting human playmates, chums and friends. You bet I’m house broken, walk well on a leash, take treats softly from your palm, enjoy squeaky balls and all over body rubs.
I am a consistently good dog who likes routines, leisurely walks, sniffing anywhere, playing fetch and enjoying time with people. I know ‘sit and stay’ and behave like a gentleman for treats and I don’t bark at other dogs. I have a happy, calm, quiet disposition and I am playful but not anxious. I do not need constant attention if there’s a patch of sunshine to relax in.
I am the perfect blend of curious explorer and cuteness! The volunteers have told me that I’m going to be a devoted and positive addition to some lucky home. I am looking for a family who will appreciate my big heart and happy smiles. I might do well with an older calm dog so, if you have a dog at home bring him/her when you visit me to see how we get along. It would be so cool to have a yard to enjoy running and roaming and I’d love to play in the yard with older kids. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Potty trained, positive and leash walk ready!
If you are ready to live life with heart and a playful happy dog Lambo is a must meet! Just contact my great friends at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays. I’d love a chance to go for a walk in the Red Rocks with you.

More about this shelter
Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.
The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.
The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.
Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.
The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
