My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nakita is a loving, well-mannered 9-year-old girl who still has plenty of energy and joy to share. At 45 lbs, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion — big enough for adventures, yet small enough to curl up beside you on the couch. She’s calm, sweet, and has a way of making everyone around her feel at ease. Nakita enjoys life’s simple pleasures: Daily walks, lounging in sunny spots, backyard playtime, and staying close to her favorite people!

Nakita has done well with kids of all ages and would be happy in a home with or without another dog — she’s an easygoing girl who just wants love and comfort. She’s also spending her time in a foster home, where she’s enjoying cozy naps and one-on-one attention while she waits for her forever family.

If you’d like to meet her, you can apply on our website — Nakita is ready to give her heart to someone special. Maybe that’s you? Get your application in today to meet this precious girl!
