My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timbit & Croissant – A Love Story in Two Small Bodies 💙🐾

Timbit and Croissant are 1.5 years old now. They’ve grown up together. They’ve learned the world together. And they’ve held onto each other through every single twist in their little lives.

If you walk into their foster home, you won’t see “medical cases.”
You’ll see two cats who are deeply loved.

Croissant is the soft one. The gentle soul. The boy with the slight limp that never slows him down — it just makes him tilt a little when he runs to greet you. Recently, life handed him a few extra challenges. He was diagnosed with lung inflammation and may possibly have asthma. X-rays also showed what appears to be an enlarged heart, and he will need a cardiac work-up in the future.

Right now, he takes two oral medications to help him breathe comfortably. And he does it like a champ.

We don’t know exactly what his future looks like. It’s possible his lifespan could be shorter than we’d hope. That’s the honest part.

But here’s the more important part:

Today, he is happy.
Today, he is playful.
Today, he is loved beyond measure.

His foster mom adores him — and Timbit — as if they were her own. They follow her from room to room. They curl up beside her. They have filled her home with warmth and laughter. They are not fragile. They are not sad. They are living.

And Timbit? She is his sassy little shadow. His confidence. His spark. Where he is soft, she is bold. Where he pauses, she steps forward. They balance each other in the most beautiful way — a perfectly matched pair who draw comfort and strength from one another.

They both have Feline Herpes Virus (FHV), which simply means occasional sniffles or watery eyes. It does not define them. It does not stop them. It is just a small part of their story.

What defines them is the way they love.

We have promised Croissant that every day of his life will be the best day we can give him — whether that’s ten years or fewer than that. Quality over quantity. Comfort over fear. Joy over uncertainty.

Now we are searching for someone who believes the same.

Someone who understands that forever doesn’t have to mean perfect.
Someone who sees that loving deeply — even when the future feels uncertain — is still worth it.
Someone who has space in their heart and home for two cats who will give everything they have in return.

Timbit and Croissant don’t need pity.
They need commitment.
They need someone willing to love them for exactly who they are.

Could that be you?
