Don’t let the name fool you - - this little Mouse is no pest. She’s a 6-month old, 5-pound (as of 11/5) domestic shorthair kitten who is equal parts silly, speedy, and sweet. With her soft brown-and-white coat and wide curious eyes, she’s as adorable as she is entertaining.
Mouse has major kitten energy. She zooms, she pounces, she stalks her toy springs and balls like a tiny lioness - - then proudly carries them around in her mouth to re-home them just in the right spot. Perhaps interior design is her true passion!
Interested in everything from closets, to cabinets, to coffee mugs, Mouse is gaining more confidence with each passing day. While she’s still somewhat shy and cautious, Mouse is making terrific progress learning to trust people. She has begun lounging near her human(s) on the couch, enjoying pets when she’s sleepy enough, and taking comfort in the simple things that life has to offer.
Mouse gets along well with other cats, she’s impeccably clean and litter-pan trained, and has a healthy appetite. In fact, treats are her love language! She’s a quirky, comedic explorer who is just looking for a gentle, patient person to help her fully blossom into the affectionate sweetheart she was always meant to be. If you adopt Mouse, she may tiptoe at first, but before long, she’ll leap right into your heart.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
