Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Curious, energetic, confident
Mrs. Butterworth is a curious, energetic kitty who loves to explore her surroundings and interact with people. She definitely likes to keep tabs on what you’re doing!
Mrs. Butterworth can get very excited about playing! She will bat balls, pounce on hairties, chase lasers, scratch her scratching pad, and chew on boxes. She’s good about playing just with her toys and not with things she shouldn’t be playing with. When she’s not playing, she really enjoys stretching out on a sunny windowsill to nap or watch the world go by.
As much as she loves her toys, she loves mealtime even more! She can be crazy loud and active, jumping and purring and loudly singing the song of her people when she sees her food coming. She’s shameless about batting her huge gorgeous eyes at you to entice you into giving her a treat.
Mrs. Butterworth would do best in a home where she can be independent and keep a steady routine. Lots of toys and sunny windows are a must. Because of her tendency to get over-excited, she’s not a good match for young kids. She would be fine with older kids who understand cat body language and boundaries. She has had mixed reactions to other pets, so she would probably be best as your one and only.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Mrs. Butterworth, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
