My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cloud, an 8-year-old white & grey male, has had a difficult life, but you wouldn’t know it. He is a gentle, sweet-natured soul whose only requirement is that he be loved. Once he gets to know you, he will follow you around, cuddle next to you on the couch, and snuggle in bed with you. He loves sitting in a sunny window! He would prefer a quiet home, and probably would do best as an only cat.

Cloud is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. The FIV virus (not spreadable to humans) is generally a slow-acting virus, so symptoms may never appear or not appear until years after infection. He has no signs of illness and appears to be healthy. It has been shown that FIV cats can live a normal lifespan.

He is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped.

Please consider giving this wonderful fellow a good, loving home. We will be happy to provide more information about him.

Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (7+ years old) is $75 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time.

If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below:

From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/

A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form.

Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott AZ area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
