My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josephine first joined us in August 2025 as an adorable 8-month-old puppy. She was quickly adopted but has sadly returned because she struggled to get along with the chihuahua in her former home. While Josephine thrives in the company of larger dogs, she`s not comfortable around smaller breeds, and the presence of young children makes her anxious—often causing her to retreat and hide.

Despite these challenges, Josephine is an incredibly sweet girl who longs for a loving home where she can feel safe and relaxed. Her cataracts add an extra layer of difficulty to her experience in the shelter, as she can hear the lively sounds of other dogs but often cannot see what is happening around her. Josephine deserves a chance to find her forever home, where she can truly flourish and be the joyful companion she was meant to be.
